LIFT - Leaders In Further Training.

Every Fall season, Mountain Ministry has the pleasure of hosting LIFT. They are a group of roughly 30 young adults who have committed a year to embracing connection with God, others, and their callings. Simply put, they’re a Christian Outdoor Leadership Program. Mountain Ministry has become one of the focuses of missions work for them, and we are so grateful! Over the last 5 years, they have come alongside us with service projects, trail maintenance, and local community events. Through the work of LIFT, our Thrift and Coffee Shop has been transformed into a cozy and welcoming space that is versatile enough to also host our Sunday morning worship services and many other events, which has allowed our local church to grow and thrive. They have been a true blessing to our ministry and community!

We had an incredible group this year who worked hard and got a lot done as usual. At Mtn Thrift & Coffee they put up more pallet walls, removed a storage room to open up the sorting area, helped the staff with merchandise, cleaned, and much more. They served the Penguin Ski Club through painting a mural, deep cleaning, and trash/brush removal. They did trail maintenance in Waterville Valley on their cross country trails. They helped lead at youth group and at a flag football night in Littleton. They provided fun games at our annual Trunk or Treat event on Halloween. Relationships were built. Vision was shared. Communities were blessed. We are so thankful for LIFT and the relationship we have with them. They are a true blessing to us, and we pray that we were a blessing to them!
