Our Hope in Him

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” - Lamentations 3:22-24

It is so easy to get caught up in our sin and bogged down by it. The devil tries to use our sins to pull us away from God by causing us to turn away from Him out of shame/fear or making us feel like we need to perform to make up for the “bad”.

1. But the steadfast love of the Lord NEVER ceases

2. He does not want us to live in our shame but to live in HIS love.

3. We should not turn away because of sin but turn toward Him because all He desires is our heart.

4. God does not call us to be perfect, He calls us to surrender. When we surrender and give Him our hearts, He will do the work in us to help us overcome our sin. But we are human, so we will always fall short therefore let us always remember that His mercies are new every morning.
