The God Who Sees

“I have now seen the One who sees me.” - Genesis 16:13

As we navigate through life, we often encounter distractions. Conversations can be interrupted by wandering gazes and divided attention, leaving us feeling unseen and unheard. But in this noise, there is a profound truth that we can hold onto: God sees us. Not just our actions, but our hearts, our dreams, and our innermost thoughts.

Imagine God, with unwavering focus, looking directly at you—His creation. He knows your struggles, your joys, and every detail that makes you who you are. He sees not only the person you project to the world but also the unique individual He designed you to be. This is a comforting and powerful truth: you are never overlooked in His eyes.

What can we do with this incredible love? We are called to respond by shifting our gaze back to Him, allowing ourselves to be enveloped in His presence. Just as Hagar discovered, we can affirm, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” This acknowledgment brings freedom and joy, allowing us to love Him wholeheartedly and extend that love to others.

I encourage you to meditate on this truth today, let us take time to rest in His presence, recognizing that we are fully known and deeply cherished. In that space, may we find the strength to embrace health and a well-deserved rest, knowing that the God who sees us is always with us.

Lord, help me to remember that You see me completely. May I find peace in this truth and take the time to rest and rejuvenate. Thank You for Your love and attention. Amen.
